We're number Bezhig!
Our Anishinaabe Thunder Bezhig Logo Shirts feature a large logo on the shirt front, and our geographic location on the back. The Seven Thunderbirds represent the Seven Anishinaabe Nations (Ojibwe, Odawa, Potawotomi, Algonquin, Nipissing, Mississauga, and Oji-Cree), the Seven Directions, the Seven Fires, and the Seven Grandfather and Grandmother Teachings. The number Bezhig (1) represents the path of Mino-Bimaadiziwin (the Good Life) when all these things are brought together.
All text on the shirt is written using the Anishinaabemowin Syllabic alphabet. Syllabics is an Indigenous writing system utilized by Anishinaabemowin, Cree, and Inuktitut speakers.
