A collaboration with our friends over at Tool & Eye, the limited edition Bangishmo (Sunset) Collection embodies the western direction, from the water to the sky. In Anishinaabe culture, the western direction is understood to be where Thunderbirds, sacred spiritual protectors, reside. They create wind with the beating of their wings, and lightning with their eyes. They protect human beings from evil spirits, and through the wind, rain, and lightning, bring about healing and renew life.
Ross Mylet, the owner of Tool & Eye, is a martial artist, the current Canadian Bantamweight Boxing Champion and a graphic designer. Tool & Eye is a platform for young designers and makers to grow in their industry, to connect people together that can help each other.
